Nemo, A.K.A. Mothy

Our net cat, Nemo, has many nicknames. (People who love their animal friends know that their furry friends have many names.) So Nemo is Nemo, and many other names I won't bore you with. But one nickname out of many is "Mothy." That's because Nemo is gray and white, with a gray tail, except for a flick of white at the tip. When the lighting is just right -- rather dim -- and you're unaware Nemo is about with tail held high, his white tip is all you see out of the corner of your eye. Like a moth thrumming through the living room. So we dubbed him "Mothy" and here are some photos:

Nemo, aka as Mothy. Hard to tell but the white tip is there.

Mysterious blur, is it Mothman?

David Weatherly: Mothman in Russia

From David Weatherly, writing on Russia's Mothman. As Weatherly and others, including John Keel, have written, Mothman - or at least, a Mothman like creature -- has been seen all over the world.

David Weatherly: Mothman in Russia: But in the years since the Point Pleasant tragedy, this strange, winged creature has been reported in other locations around the world, often it seems, just prior to a disaster. These include rumors of Mothman sightings prior to the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the 911 terrorist attacks and the Chernobyl power plant meltdown.

Many of these reports come in after the fact, but one terrorist incident in Russia was predicted by Mothman sightings before it occurred. (Weatherly; Two Crows Paranormal)
